EMARC Happenings::

2010

April 10-11, 2010: AAPG/SEPM Annual Convention in New Orleans. Matt Pranter will instruct a preconvention short course entitled "From Rocks to Models: Reservoir Geology for Graduate Students". This course provides an introduction to reservoir characterization and modeling concepts and methods. The focus is on geological (e.g., stratigraphic, sedimentological) controls on reservoir characteristics and practical aspects of reservoir modeling (i.e., how reservoir geologists use reservoir modeling as a tool to address geological and reservoir questions).

April 14, 2010: AAPG/SEPM Annual Convention in New Orleans. Alicia Hewlett, Matt Pranter, and Steve Cumella will present a poster entitled "Stratigraphic Architecture, Reservoir Quality, and Sandstone-Body Connectivity of the Mesaverde Group, Central Mamm Creek Field, Piceance Basin, Colorado".
